Time heals everything. Or does it?
Everything in this universe (including itself) has a tendency to grow and develop. After 13.8 billion years (believed age of the universe), a quite interesting fact has been observed that everything eventually is growing complex rather than stay simple.
Time eventually heals the conscious as one generally moves on, to develop into something better and complex. Time also helps a person realize that committing mistakes is a part of growing up, no matter how old the person is. But time alone doesn’t heal you, it teaches you some important things along the line.
What does Time teach you?
Time teaches us to look at life from a different perspective
The moment when it happens we strongly feel like there is no life after it. We just can’t control our overwhelming waves of negative emotions. As time passes, we gradually understand that “The show must go on”.
Change in the intensity of emotions
We are humans and our emotions or mindset never rests at the same level. So it’s pretty much impossible to keep that same intensity of emotions, for any of those self-devastating events, for the whole life.
Increase in practicality and maturity level
You learn to understand the fact that whatever happened is irreversible so there is no point in wasting either your time or energy and spoiling your mental peace over it. You realize that there is always someone facing even worse situations than you. Assuming yourself in their position would reveal how tiny your own problem really is.
However, The more the time is that you spend inside the walls, the more difficult it will be for you to bring down those walls. If you think that the time alone will heal everything then probably you would need a reality check.
Once again, quoting the above lines it is “What you do with that time counts”. Time is yours, no one can take it from you unless you want to give it. Having faith in something is important than anything else. Time is limitless but not you, so don’t wait for it to get healed or anything.
